RAF Feltwell Building 77 Washroom Facilities
At Royal Air Force Feltwell, Brawley completed a comprehensive Design-Build project to enhance and modernize washroom facilities for the US Air Force in the United Kingdom. This project entailed the full technical design and construction, encompassing both new installations and refurbishments of existing spaces. Key upgrades included removing the undersized mains water supply and installing a new incoming water main to support improved service. New shower areas were added to both restrooms, and wet-room, non-slip vinyl flooring was installed to increase safety and durability. The facility also received a full ventilation system for optimal air quality, and new block work rooms were constructed with suspended ceilings, finished with a white Roc covering on the walls. Additional enhancements included new doors, updated water closets, urinals, wash basins, and electrical upgrades, such as new distribution panel boards, electric showers, sink water heaters, and hand dryers. A fire alarm system and electrical radiators were also installed to ensure safety and comfort throughout.
