Founded in 1992, Brawley provides high-quality, turn-key design, construction, ICT infrastructure and FF&E solutions for facilities across the United States and abroad.

The Brawley team is comprised of seasoned professionals from diverse backgrounds with decades of Design, Construction, ICT and FF&E experience.

Jon Gore
A graduate of East Carolina University (B.S. Construction Management), Jon is an experienced construction manager with a 15 year plus record of successfully executing projects, including several years’ experience overseeing Brawley’s core operations. As President/COO, he now leads all facets of Brawley operations and implements the core vision, strategy, policies and procedures of the organization to ensure success. His experience and leadership focuses on developing and delivering services and solutions, providing outstanding client service, and driving profitable revenue growth.
Steve Ezzell
Chief Financial Officer
Steve graduated from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington (M.B.A and B.S Accounting) and has over 30 years of experience in construction financial management of general and subcontracting firms in both public and private projects. As Chief Financial Officer, Steve manages project costing, financial reporting, short/long term budgeting and cost controls. Steve is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional, designated by the Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals.
Robin Novak
Chief Marketing Officer
A graduate of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (B.S. Textiles & Design), Robin has over 25 years of marketing, sales, interior design, project coordination and management experience in military, hospitality, and commercial work space. As Chief Marketing Officer and Interior Design Manager, Robin leads the W.B. Brawley Interior Design group and oversees all primary military client contact and sales development in the United States and overseas.
Chris Nesselroade
Executive Vice President
Chris graduated from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington and has spent over 20 years at Brawley. Since 1997, he has supported and managed the growth of the company in business development, contract management, and client relations as a military contractor. As Executive Vice President, Chris leads our business development, strategic partner relations and customer support throughout the US and overseas.
Jody Baldwin
Vice President
Jody is an energetic leader in the Information & Communications Technology (ICT) and Internet of Everything (IoE) fields. As a graduate of Cornell University and a lifelong learner, Jody remains not only a relevant participant in a rapidly changing world, but he helps to identify the needs and implement the technologies that are creating that change. He has worked with and consulted for some of the planet’s greatest technology advocates in business, academia, and government. His pursuits have brought Jody to many nations around the globe. In his current role as Vice President for ICT and Data at Brawley, Jody’s role is to identify opportunities, build partnerships, create solutions, deliver high-value infrastructures, and eliminate the risk associated with data transmission and storage.
Randy Grubb
Vice President
A graduate of the United States Military Academy, Randy is an experienced construction leader with over 30 years of construction experience. From Superintendent, to Project Management, to Senior Leadership positions throughout his career, Randy oversees all facets of our construction program, to include our commercial division, headquartered in Raleigh, NC. Randy’s experience includes all areas of the construction market, to include office buildings, banks, fire stations, medical office buildings, K-12 schools, university work, airports, multifamily, federal, military and many others. With “Safety First” as his highest priority, Randy works with our clients and project teams to safely deliver our projects on time, with the highest quality standards possible and within budget.
Jason Ezzell
Bus. Development Manager
A graduate of North Carolina State University (B.S. Industrial Engineering) and Saint Louis University (Masters in Business Administration), Jason brings a diverse background of marketing, sales, and operations to Brawley. As Business Development Manager, Jason overseas our new opportunity and customer resource management efforts as well as cultivating relationships with our strategic partners.
Karen Greer
Sr. Interior Designer, NCIDQ
North Carolina native Karen Greer joined WB Brawley as a Senior Interior Designer in January of 2014. She graduated from Appalachian State University in May 2002, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and minor in Art. Upon graduation from college, she began working in the Raleigh area as a hospitality interior designer. While her primary emphasis over the years has always been on hospitality, she enjoys working on a wide variety of design projects, such as offices, recreation centers, and libraries, to name a few. Her experience has equipped her with the aesthetic and product knowledge to create inviting, functional spaces while continuing to meet the requirements for durability and commercial codes. She is NCIDQ certified and is currently a professional member of IIDA.
Darren McClerren
Program Manager
With over 20 years of experience in the Federal Contracting Arena, Darren has successfully managed various Construction and Training Infrastructure projects for all branches of the U.S. Military, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, The Pentagon, The U.S. Treasury, and NASA. As Program Manager, Darren’s approach to achieve safe and successful projects, is developing strong relationships with our clients, subcontractors and suppliers. Darren develops and manages project estimates, schedules, budgets and project plans. Darren also maintains OSHA 30 Hour, EM 385-1-1, 40 Hour Training, US Army Corps CQC Certification as well as holding his NC GC license among several other construction related certifications.

Gerry Ward
Director, RCDD DBIA
Gerry has been a leader in the Information & Communications Technology (ICT) field for more than 25 years. He is a graduate of Penn State (B.S.) and the University of Maryland (M.B.A.). He has excelled in the technology world from many perspectives – as an entrepreneur, contractor, designer and owner’s rep. Gerry holds the highest-level certifications in ICT design, the BICSI RCDD; and design-build, the Design-Build Professional® (DBIA®). He has successfully completed projects in academia, commercial, education, government, and healthcare markets. His government projects have taken him throughout the US, and to Europe and the Middle East; and his designs have supported projects in Africa, Asia and South America as well. Gerry’s current role as Director for ICT at Brawley, is to support the team’s growth as a catalyst – developing business, leading technology design teams, creating elegant solutions, and implementing them for demanding, world class clients.
Jessie Farman
Program Manager
Jessie Farman has over 20 years of experience in the Federal construction field. He has managed multiple types of construction projects such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, infrastructure, and renovations. Jessie’s role as Program Manager is to create schedules, estimate projects, and manage budgets. He’s had successful work at Shaw AFB, Paris Island MCRD, Naval Hospital Beaufort, Naval Weapon Station Joint Base Charleston, North AFB, and Camp Lejeune just to name a few. Jessie has proven success with his projects due to his knowledge and professional relationships with subcontractors, contracting officers, engineers, and inspectors. Jessie holds a certification in OSHA 30 hours, First Aid/CPR, EM 385-1-1, US Army Corps CQCM, among other certifications.
