Job Position: Office Manager in the Columbia Office

This Office Manager will work with the entire project team to include teammates, sub-contractors, vendors, architects, field staff, and community clients to ensure the company operates efficiently and effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Computer skills are a must, including Word, Excel, and any other construction management software, such as Procore, etc.
  • Supports the entire company teammates in all tasks, from clerical to abstract tasks and assignments.
  • Work with the Preconstruction Team prior to and during all hard bid proposals.
  • Performs data entry and file management including confidential and sensitive materials.
  • Provides administrative support for company and project managers.
  • Maintains office supplies, mail processing, and office related errands.
  • Answers all sorts of social media communication requirements.
  • Assists the Project Managers with all accounting tasks to include processing Owner invoices, Subcontractor invoices, Vendor invoices, etc.
  • Process all new hire onboarding requirements.
  • Works with Business Development to prepare marketing brochures, attend select social events, etc.
  • Will work with the team to organize and schedule team building/social events as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-5 years in a construction office preferred.
  • 2-5 years in a busy office environment and support role required.
  • Reliable and dependable.
  • A fast learner.
  • Strong organizational skills and communicates well in verbal and written forms.
  • Understands the processes for accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Logic with numbers and understands general accounting principles.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
  • Ability to research and problem solve.
  • Ability to support multiple managers.
  • Self-starter, punctual, reliable, positive attitude and a team player.
